How would you describe your style as a celebrant?Personal: I will invest time in getting to know you so that you will not feel like a stranger has shown up for one of the biggest days of your lives. Polished: Presenting to lawyers and clients is part of my role so I am trained in public speaking. Insert your preference: [playful / professional / passionate / patient] – this is where the bespoke element of my service comes in! You deserve and will get the wedding you always wanted.
-
What is the length of your ceremony? It is totally up to you. Recommended length is 20 minutes to keep the audience engaged.
-
What is required to book you in?A 20% deposit is required to lock in a date with me.
-
What is the minimum notice you require if we want to engage you as our celebrant? At least one month before your wedding date – and this is a legal requirement in Australia (subject to a few exceptions).
-
What is the process once we book you? There are broadly three key activities: (i) Scoping: getting to know you and completing legal paperwork (ii) Script-writing: co-designing the script and the ceremony with you (iii) Co-ordinating: liaising with your key vendors and ceremony participants These activities are scalable depending on how involved you want to be and how much time we have. I will provide a timeline of key dates and activities after our initial consultation.
